Il secondo SP per Windows XP è stato una manna venuta dal cielo, rilasciato nel “lontano” 2004 ha risolto diversi problemi legati alla sicurezza ed ha apportato diverse migliorie andando ad integrare un Firewall (per la prima volta) oltre ad aggiungere la funzionalità di blocco popup a Internet Explorer. A distanza di 3 anni, l’attesa per il nuovo SP è alta e, poichè si è rivelato un buon sistema operativo, Microsoft continuerà a supportare Windows XP dedicandogli il SP3 nella prima metà del 2008. Non vi sono ulteriori cose da dire tranne che Windows Vista si trova in una strada in salita: o risolvono i tanti bugs con l’imminente Service Pack oppure Windows XP continuerà ad avere una folta schiera di ammiratori. Ho scaricato e installato il SP3 si XP. I downloaded and installed the XP SP3. Sorpresa: dov’è finita la barra degli indirizzi che tenevo sulla barra degli strumenti (sulla linea del pulsante START tanto per capirci) ? Surprise: Where is finished the address bar that had on the toolbar (on the line in the START button just to understand)?
E’ sparita e non riesco a recuperarla. E 'disappeared and I can not retrieve it.

Ho installato la SP3 di XP su un Notebook HP Pavillion zd8003 con HP Home edition: sono scomparsi tutti i settaggi personalizzati e le periferiche. I installed the SP3 of XP on a HP Pavilion zd8003 Notebook with HP Home edition are missing all the custom settings and peripherals. Non riesco a vedere le connessioni di rete, le periferiche ci sono e funzionano ma sono invisibili. I can not see network connections, the devices do exist and work but are invisible. Invece a me è andata meglio, avevo messo i drivers della Ati 8.4, (radeon 9700 AGP), dopo aver installato l’sp3, il driver esisteva ancora, ma la funzionalità direct3d scomparsa, risolta reinstallando il driver…. State attenti sto Sp3, non dice mica tanto quello che fa, io oramai l’ho installato, per gli altri consiglio di aspettare un mesetto e mezzo….. Be careful Sp3'm not saying mica so what, I now I installed for other council to wait mesetto and a half… ..

Io ho installato il SP3 e tutti gli usb 2 non funzionano più ad alta velocità. I installed the SP3 and all usb 2 no longer work at high speed. Ora sto provando a disinstallare il tutto e speriamo che tutto vada a posto Now I'm trying to uninstall everything, and we hope that all is in place

Anch’io dopo l’installazione del sp3 ho il problema delle usb: non funzionano più ad alta velocità! I also after the installation of sp3 I have the problem of usb: no longer work at high speed!
