Google Reader e Feedburner sono di nuovo amici
Google Reader (lettore di feed web based: è uno dei prodotti più famosi di Google oltre a Gmail, Google News e Picasa) si è guadagnato il rispetto degli adetti ai lavori e, oltre ad essere utilizzato da geeks, blogger oppure nerds finalmente lo adoperano anche le “persone comuni”.
In tempi non lontani più di qualcuno ha obbiettato l’impossibilità di poter “conteggiare” i lettori di feedburner che utilizzano Google Reader e, finalmente, è giunto l’atteso messagio
Publishers have been asking us to report the number of users that are subscribed to their feeds in Google Reader. This is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while, but with all the products that use feeds at Google, corralling the data in one place was like herding cats. So herd we did, and as of today, our crawler reports the number of Google users subscribed to the feed. The count includes subscribers from Google Reader and the Google Personalized Homepage, and in the future may include other Google products that support feeds.
Il risultato di quasi tutti i blog che utilizzano feedburner è stato un piccolo o grande aumento del numero di Subscribers: segno che il servizio Google Reader è diventato maturo oltre ad essere user friendly
