Conversione delle Email da Thunderbird a Outlook Express Conversion of E-mails from Thunderbird to Outlook Express
Ho dovuto trasferire per lavoro tutte le email che avevo accumulato nel mio client di Posta Thunderbird nuovamente in Outlook Express. Una volta fatto partire imapsize cliccare su tools, mbox2eml. Once started imapsize click tools, mbox2eml. L’interfaccia che si presenterà è la seguente: The interface you present it as follows:

Cerchiamo la cartella che ci interessa trasferire posizionandoci su C:\Documents and Settings\nome_utente_del_computer\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\insieme_di_lettere.default\Mail\Local Folders ricordandoci di dare la spunta a select all files. In Thunderbird ogni cartella corrisponde a due files, ecco perchè si trovano ad esempio il file lavoro e lavoro.msf. Creiamo ora sul desktop la cartella Outlook Folder e la sottodirectory Lavoro. Building hours on the desktop folder Outlook Folder and the subdirectory Labour. Ripetiamo il procedimento per ogni cartella che ci interessa esportare. We repeat the procedure for each folder that interests us to export.
Giunti a questo punto apriamo Outlook Express e creiamo la cartella Lavoro. At this point we open Outlook Express and create the folder Labour. Selezioniamo tutti i files presenti ad esempio nella cartella Lavoro sul Desktop ed effettuiamo un Drag and Drop sulla Cartella Lavoro In Outlook. We select all files such as those contained in folder on the Desktop Jobs and carry out a Drag and Drop on Job Outlook Folder.
Le nostre Email sono ora su Outlook. Our Email are now on Outlook.

Mi sai dire se questo procedimento funziona anche con Windows Mail di Vista? I know say whether this procedure also works with Windows Vista Mail? Poi passerei tutte le mail su Outlook 2007. Then passerei all mail on Outlook 2007.
Purtroppo, pur apprezzando molto Firefox (uso praticamente solo quello) non riesco a farmi piacere quest’altro prodotto di “casa” Mozilla, ovvero Thunderbird… Unfortunately, while I welcome very Firefox (use virtually only what) I can not make me happy that other product of "home" Mozilla or Thunderbird…

Mi rispondo da solo: il procedimento funziona sia per Windows Mail che direttamente per Outlook 2007 anche se ho riscontrato un paio di piccole anomalie: la prima è che al titolo della mail vengono aggiunti la data e l’ora di invio (poco male), la seconda - a mio parere più grave - è che in tutte le mail nel campo “da” non appare il mittente, ma il mio nome e la data diventa quella del giorno di importazione.
