Conversione del modem Aethra EB1070 (Telecom) in Router Conversion modem Aethra EB1070 (Telecom) Router
Tempo fa ho trovato un sito con firmware per convertire dei modem ADSL in Router. Some time ago I found a site with firmware to convert the ADSL modem in Router. - Procedura: -- Procedures:
Scaricarsi la ISO del CD di Riparazione (Repair CD) e masterizzarla. Scaricarsi ISO CD Repair (Repair CD) and burn it.
Togliere le 4 viti del modem ADSL, ponticellarlo. Remove the screws 4 of ADSL modem, ponticellarlo.
Fare in modo che la prima periferica di Boot sia il lettore CD . Ensure that the first device Boot is the CD player.
Avviare il PC con il modem collegato tramite cavo USB ed il Repair CD inserito. Start your PC with a modem connected via USB cable and Repair CD inserted.
Partito il programma, alla prima schermata selezionare se il PC ha una velocità minore o superiore a 900MHz . Party program, the first screen to select whether your PC has a speed less than or greater than 900MHz.
Selezionare alla schermata successiva il firmware SAFECOM (quello con la data più recente) Select to the next screen SAFECOM the firmware (the one with the most recent date)
Da prompt dei commandi digitiamo rm_usb From prompt commands type rm_usb
Alle due domande successive premere solamente INVIO . At two successive applications only press ENTER.
Bene 3/4 del lavoro è fatto. Well 3 / 4 of the work is done.
Chiuso il PC e tolto il modem ADSL dalla corrente rimuovere il ponticello. Closed on PC and removed from the ADSL modem remove the current bridge. Richiudere il Modem e far ripartire il PC. Close the Modem and restart the PC. Collegare il Modem al PC tramite cavo di rete e dal vostro browser preferito digitare invece che http://www.yahoo.it i numeri seguenti: Connect the modem to the PC via cable network and your preferred browser type rather than http://www.yahoo.it the following numbers:
10.0.0.2 10.0.0.2
PS Bisogna aspettare circa 4 minuti prima che il modem digerisca il nuovo firmware. PS must wait about 4 minutes before the modem digest the new firmware.

Un solo problema: nel sito Safecom non riesco ad individuare il modello del mio modem e quindi a reperire i driver, il firmware ed il manuale. Only one problem: the site Safecom unable to identify the model of my modem and then to find drivers, firmware and manual. Il link nel tutorial sembra obsoleto. The link in the tutorial seems obsolete.

Ho provato a dare un’occhiata: la pagina che hai detto non è composta solo da firmware ma anche da drivers. I tried to take a look: the page that your word is not composed only by firmware but also by drivers. Dall’alto verso il basso troviamo i link per il: From top to bottom are links for:
- driver usb (serve a collegare il “futuro router” alla porta usb del notebook/pc) -- Driver usb (serves to connect the "future router" port usb notebook / pc)
- quicksetup (setup dei drivers nella modalità veloce, consigliato ad utenti inesperti) -- Quicksetup (setup of drivers in the fast mode, recommended inexperienced users)
- firmware originale -- Original firmware
- firmware aggiornato (2006 con supporto al Protocollo SNMP, –>Non l’ho ancora testato) -- Firmware updates (2006 with support SNMP Protocol, -> I did not yet tested)
- firmware senza il conteggio dei secondi per il reboot del modem (suppongo) -- Firmware without counting the seconds to reboot the modem (I assume)
Se vuoi installarti a tutti i costi il firmware originale della safecom, ti consiglio questo If you want installarti at all costs the original firmware of safecom you this advice QUI HERE .

Una cosa ancora mi sfugge: facendo questa modifica al firmware è poi possibile collegare due PC (uno all’USB e l’altro alla presa ethernet) in modo da condividere la connessione? Non è obbligatorio una scheda Ethernet sul PC. It is not a mandatory Ethernet card on your PC. E’ più che sufficiente una porta USB libera. It 'more than enough a free USB port.

Ciao, l’Aethra EB1070 non è un modem Wireless, lo puoi sfruttare solo collegandolo tramite USB o Ethernet. Hello, Aethra EB1070 is not a wireless modem, you can exploit only connecting via USB or Ethernet.

Ho appena letto il manuale e, da quanto riportano sul PDF, il prodotto funzionerà di sicuro col router Aethra. I just read the manual and, as reported on PDF, the product will work to secure routers with Aethra.

Complimenti per le spiegazione. Congratulations for explanation. Io però avevo già provveduto a caricare un altro firmware JMK. But I had already done so to load another firmware JMK. Alcune note per gli sfigatoni come me: Some notes for sfigatoni like me:
- staccare dal PC TUTTE le periferiche USB, tranne il modem adsl. -- ALL detach from the PC USB devices, except the modem broadband. Se il pc ha porte usb davanti e dietro , meglio usare quelle dietro. If your PC has USB ports in front and behind, better to use those behind.
Se no si ottiene l’errore di peppe qui sopra If not you get the error of peppe above
- ovviamente il modem deve essere acceso per poter essere flashato -- Of course the modem must be switched on to be flashato

Spero di sbagliarmi ma credo che con libero non funzioni per via dell’account che ha una @, infatti dopo aver salvato la configurazione sparisce la parte con e dopo la @. Ho fatto la conversione del modem Aethra EB1070 in router, ma non riesco ad accedere alla configurazione perchè non accetta il nome utente (admin) e password (admin).
